It’s generally an overuse injury for runners, but it also can be exacerbated by where you’re running; if you run on icy slippery surfaces or very hilly terrain.
I am sooo bummed. This is my first injury since I started running besides my shin splints when I first started. The cure is rest, ice, compression and Ibuprofen. This is my second day of not running and I already feel like a caged animal! I just want to go out and burn a few and I can't even walk. It sounds like a few days of rest and see if the pain goes away.
I am starting to think I need to consider some kind of cross training in case something like this happens in the future.
So sad~

hi!
i just came across your blog... i've had tendonitis for about a week now, and i've done some light walking daily and yoga, but absolutely no running. after one week, my foot still isn't better!
just out of curiosity, how long did it take your tendonitis to heal? i'm doing a big hike soon, and i'm starting to get worried!
thanks!
