November 22, 2012 Gobble Gobble!

Happy Thanksgiving! I decided to hit the trail early today so my run would not conflict with me cooking our turkey. We ended up running against a turkey trot 5K that was coming from the other direction on the trail. I thought it started an hour later than it actually did or else I would have run in it! LOL! 

 My turkey trot was a good run, a little confusing with people running at us and my turkeys in tow:

 Or should I say they had me in tow!
They are such good runners! I hope to be able to keep up with them someday!
I can't wait till they are teenagers doing cross country meets, it will be so exciting to see all their hard work pay off!

 And BIG news!! I did actually sign us up for our FIRST Official 5K!! We are so excited!

Proud of you and the munchkins! I signed my kids and I up for our first 5k too!! We are doing a color run in Las Vegas in February with Denise (Lala) and her kids. Should be super fun!
